Remo Stars Technical Adviser, Daniel Ogunmodede, has urged his team to continue improving as they pursue their season’s objectives following a dominant 2-0 win over Elkanemi Warriors in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 16 fixture on Sunday.
The Sky Blues secured the victory at home thanks to goals from Peter Onuoha and Franck Mawuena, which ensured a comfortable win for the Ikenne-based club.
Although Ogunmodede was absent from the dugout due to a national team assignment, he lauded his players for their resilience and commitment, while stressing the importance of maintaining high standards throughout the season.
“An important victory for us on Matchday 16 against El-Kanemi Warriors,” Ogunmodede wrote on X. “Our focus remains on continuous improvement.”
The win has propelled Remo Stars to the top of the NPFL standings, and they will look to build on this momentum when they face Ikorodu City in Lagos next weekend.
