NPFL: Ossy Martins makes Rivers United return

After his two stints abroad, former Rangers International forward, Ossy Martins has returned to his former club ahead of the new Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
Martins is rejoining the Pride of Rivers for the upcoming league campaign from Northern Cyprus side, Dumlupinar.
He played for the Port Harcourt-based side from 2019 to 2020 from another NPFL side, Abia Warriors scoring eight goals in 27 league games for the 2021/2022 league champions.
The former US Tataouine player previously played for Kwara State-based sides, Abubakar Bukola Saraki Football Club (ABS FC) and Kwara Unite before switching to Abia Warriors.
He left Rivers United for Lobi Stars in 2020 and later switched to Rangers International a year later.
His two stints abroad were with the Tunisian side, US Tataouine, and the Northern Cyprus outfit, Dumlupinar.
The Pride of Rivers will represent the country at the 2023/2024 CAF Confederations Cup and also battle to reclaim the league title from Enyimba FC.
