Plateau United have officially unveiled four new players as part of their preparations for the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The club announced the signings via its official Facebook page, confirming the arrivals of Tarabina Biweribo from Bayelsa United, Jonathan Okechukwu Stanley from Nigeria National League (NNL) side Crown FC, Promise Damala from Katsina United, and experienced forward Gideon Monday from Shooting Stars.
All four players have joined the rest of the squad in pre-season training and are expected to play key roles in the team’s campaign under the revamped squad setup.
Plateau United will kick off their season away to Wikki Tourists in a Matchday One clash scheduled for Friday, August 22, in Bauchi.
Samuel Ahmadu is a distinguished multimedia journalist and women's football expert with over 15 years of experience in the industry. His contributions to women's football continued as he worked as a Media Consultant for Content Creation and Editorials at the 2022 CAF Women's Champions League. Currently, Samuel also serves as the spokesman for the Nigeria Women Football League, further solidifying his influence and dedication to the growth of women's football in Africa.
