NPFL: Remo Stars honour fan for club’s logo tattooed on his arm
By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde
Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Remo Stars has honoured one of his fans who tattooed the club logo on his arm.
The club visited the fan’s house ahead of last Sunday’s league encounter with Gombe United and also gave the fan nicknamed “Balinga” a personal tour around the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.
He also interacted with the players and the coaching crew of the club as he fan explained why he decided to have the tattoo.
“I started supporting Remo Stars because of my late brother,” Balinga opened up in a short video interview with the club’s media.
“They were playing in Gateway stadium before so I’ve been supporting them but later I left Shagamu and came back and when I asked I was told they now play in Ikenne.

“So Remo Stars is my team and I support them with everything.”
Remo Stars are placed fifth in Group A of the abridged NPFL with 18 points from 12 games after they were docked three points following an assault on match official Ndubuisi Ukah and subsequent disruption against Gombe United.
The Sky Blue Stars’ next league fixture is away to Shooting Stars at the Lekan Salami Stadium on Sunday.
This will be followed by a home clash with leaders and unbeaten, Bendel Insurance in Ikenne.
