NPFL reschedules five fixtures involving Rivers United, Insurance, Doma United

The board of Nigeria Premier League, NPL have announced rearrangement of some fixtures in the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL citing logistics reasons, Nigeriafootball.ng reports.
Chief Operating Officer, COO of the league, Davidson. Owumi who disclosed this in the latest circular to clubs involved stated the affected clubs as Rivers United, Lobi Stars, Doma United, Bendel Insurance, Rangers Int’l, Remo Stars, Gombe United and Bayelsa United.
Owumi stated that Matchdays Five, Six and Seven of the new season have been rescheduled after thorough consideration of convenience of clubs involved.
Matchday 5 fixture for this weekend that was moved from Saturday to Sunday, October 29 is the encounter between Rivers United FC and Lobi Stars FC.
Matchday 6 fixtures:
Doma United Vs Bendel Insurance encounter has also been moved from Wednesday November 1st, to Thursday November 2nd, 2023 as well as the game between Lobi Stars vs Rangers International.
Matchday 7 fixtures:
Bendel Insurance Vs Remo Stars clash which was slated for Saturday November 4th, has also been moved to Sunday November 5th, 2023.
With also the game involving Bayelsa United Vs Lobi Stars moved from Sunday November 5th to Monday 6th of November.
Other matches in the fixtures will take place as earlier arranged.  Enyimba FC are the defending champions of the apex league haven the won the Super Six championship earlier in the year.
