NPFL: Somiari Alalibo sure of victory as Enyimba hosts Niger Tornadoes in Aba

By Wale Mustapha
Enyimba captain Somiari Alalibo is confident his side will secure victory when they face Niger Tornadoes in a highly anticipated NPFL match on Wednesday.
Speaking ahead of the game, Alalibo emphasized the importance of the three points, saying, “We are expecting nothing other than victory because we know what is at stake.”
Enyimba, currently sitting in third place with 13 points from six games, are on a three-match unbeaten streak, which includes a morale-boosting draw against Shooting Stars in their last fixture.
Alalibo acknowledged that while Niger Tornadoes, known as the Ikon Allah Boys, will provide a tough challenge, his side is determined to come out on top.
“We know they will come to give us a good fight, but we will come out victorious,” Alalibo added, expressing optimism for his team’s chances in front of their home crowd in Aba.
A win for Enyimba could significantly boost their position on the NPFL table, bringing them closer to the top.
