NPFL: Sporting Lagos’ emerging star Micheal asserts superiority in set piece mastery

Sporting Lagos midfielder, Tochukwu Micheal has declared that he’s the best freekick taker in the Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL.

Tochukwu joined Sporting Lagos from Remo Stars and he has gone on to be a mainstay in the Noisy Lagosians team.

The dynamic midfielder scored a brace to sink Akwa United 2-1 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan where he scored a freekick.

Tochukwu said he has settled down well at the club and he charges his teammates to keep the fire burning.

“I’ve settle down well. We just have to keep fighting because there are still matches left to play,” Tochukwu told Nigeriafootball.ng exclusively.

“I’ve to be calm to score that second goal. I’m the best when it comes to taking free kicks in the league. I’ve been doing it and you should expect more.

“We have to win, anyhow, we just have to win.”
