NPFL: Sporting Lagos snap up twin brothers from Ichofe Wanderers

Newly promoted Nigeria Premier Football League,  NPFL side, Sporting Lagos have signed young twin brothers, Forukpo Boelayefa Praise and Forukpo Ayekpo Marvelous from Delta State based academy, Ichofe Wanderers.

The twins brothers have been drafted to the youth team of Sporting Lagos where they will continue their developments.

The Chief Executive Officer of Ichofe Wanderers FC, Mr. Onokpite Oghenekaro who confirmed the development predicted that the extremely talented brothers are meant for greatness in football.

“The Boys have moved on to Sporting Lagos Youth Team where they will continue their growth and development,” Wanderers boss told media.

“We are proud of what we’ve done and we sincerely wish the twins a good time out in their new environment.

“This is an attestation that we are doing a lot of things correctly for Sporting Lagos to have requested for these boys, they will hit the top soon, they are part of our pool of talented boys and we are quite sure that they will represent us well”.

FIFA Licensed Football Agent, Mr. Eddie Iseri Ogbemudia who represented the releasing club in the contract negotiation also commended the parties for their professionalism.

“This is history being made today and I’m glad to be part of it, these boys are future stars of the Nigeria national teams, I have watched them play and just give them few years time and see how they blossom,” Ogbemudia told media.

“I hope Sporting Lagos will mould these rare gems to the diamond that they are and let’s see what comes out of them in the nearest future.”
