NPFL: Waheed Omolulu: Shooting Stars defender eyes win against Sunshine Stars

Shooting Stars defender, Waheed Omololu is optimistic of a win against relegation threatened Sunshine Stars when they meet on Sunday, April 28 in Ibadan.
Gbenga Ogunbote’s men bowed to a disappointing defeat at Heartland and Omololu lamented the loss in Owerri, while expressing optimism of winning their next encounters.
“It was a match we had hoped to win to further enhance our push for the league title and a top-three finish, but it didn’t go our way,” Omololu was quoted by Shooting Stars.
“That’s football for you. You win, draw or lose, but I’m optimistic we will bounce back to winning ways on Sunday when we host Sunshine Stars.
“We must put that defeat behind us and focus on the remaining games with the sole aim of winning those games, which is quite possible.”
3SC have 49 points from 31 games in the sixth position and trail league leaders, Enugu Rangers by five points.
