Expressing his confidence in an interview with Daily Post, Njoku highlighted the team’s dedicated preparation leading up to the match: “I am very, very sure and confident that we are going to get a positive result come Sunday in Lagos.
“We’ve put in a lot of work during the week. The coaches have also put in a lot of work to prepare us, the players, and I believe and I’m confident we are going to get nothing less than a positive result.”
Currently occupying the 11th position in the league table with 41 points from 31 games, Abia Warriors aim to capitalize on their momentum and clinch a crucial away win against Sporting Lagos.
