NPFL: Waliu Ojetoye outlines key factors for Ikorodu City against Remo Stars

By Wale Mustapha

Ikorodu City captain Waliu Ojetoye has outlined the key factors his side will rely on to secure a positive result against Remo Stars in their upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 37 clash in Ikenne.

The Oga Boys, who are aiming to finish third on the NPFL table, will need to avoid defeat in the match to keep their hopes of securing continental qualification alive.

Ojetoye emphasized that with the right character and determination, his team has a good chance of overcoming the newly crowned NPFL champions.

“We have to go all out to show character and determination, and I’m positive that at the end of the game, we will get a good result,” Ojetoye told Ikorodu City media.

“The team is not under any pressure. We will play the same way we’ve been playing—with good character and the right mentality. But pressure, none.”

Ikorodu City is determined to maintain their momentum and ensure they remain in contention for a spot in next season’s continental competitions.
