NPFL: “We are on it” – Enyimba’s Pascal Eze reiterates readiness for new season

Enyimba FC defender, Pascal Eze has disclosed that the club is edging towards perfection in readiness for the new football season. 

The People’s Elephants finished third in the last Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season thereby qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup. 

They have been engaging in different preseason tournaments and have done some notable business in the transfer market with acquisition of experienced players. 

Eze, who is in his third season with the nine-time Nigerian champions believes the club would be ready for the challenges ahead of them.

“We are on it, pre-season is a process and we are on it,” the defender told Enyimba media.

“We have really improved as a group with new faces and we are working towards the new NPFL season.”

Enyimba FC will kickstart their new NPFL season with a clash against newcomers Beyond Limits on September 7 in Ikenne.
