NPFL: Wikki Tourists confirm Abdullahi Adamu as technical adviser

Wikki Tourists have announced Abdullahi Adamu as the new Technical Adviser of the team filling the space left by departed Kabir Dogo.
Adamu had been the club’s chief coach for couple of seasons before taking charge on interim basis following the departure of Dogo who left the club before the end of first round in the Nigeria Premier Football League season.
Adamu was unveiled on Monday in Bauchi by the chairman of Wikki Tourists, Alhaji Balarabe Yusuf Douglas at the colorful reception held at the club secretariat.
Adamu, who holds a UEFA B Coaching license joined Wikki in the 2019 NPFL season following the departure of Coach Bala Nikyu.
The soft spoken football tactician has promised to do his best for the club and justify the confidence reposed in him just as he solicit more understanding, patience to guide the team to topflight success.
“I’m honored with the opportunity to lead this team and I’m grateful to the management for the confidence they have in me for this task,” Adamu told media.
“I promise to do all I can to see Wikki achieve greatness this season but I can’t do it alone, I will need the support of everyone to realize that dream and I’m sure with one mind God will see us through.”
