NSF 2022: Team FCT in a quest for gold with Team Bayelsa in football final

The 21st National Sports Festival, NSF holding in Asaba, Delta State will have its football events concluded on Wednesday with Federal Capital Territory, FCT men taking on Bayelsa State in men’s final.
Team FCT boys defeated Lagos State by 2-1 in the semifinal to booked their place in the final while Bayelsa edged their South South rivals, Akwa Ibom 6-5 on penalties to secure a final berth.
The women’s final, according to the organizers will see Lagos State engaging their counterpart from Imo State.
For the women’s categories, Lagos State beat Edo 2-1 while Imo State humbled the hosts Delta by a commanding 3-0 win.
Both final have been billed to take place at the Jay Jay Okocha Stadium in Ogwashi Ukwu.
Team Delta are still leading the overall medals’ tables with a wide margin followed by Bayelsa, Edo and Oyo State.
