By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde

Nigeria duo of Anthony Nwakaeme and Henry Onyekuru helped Al Feiha force host, Al Taee to a 3-3 draw in a Saudi Arabia Professional League encounter on Friday.

Nwakaeme broke the deadlock for the visitors in the 15th minute with an assist from Ivorian defender Ghislain Konan.

The goal spurred the hosts to a scoring three in eight first-half minutes but Chilean defender, Enzo Roco leveled the scoreline in the 21st minute.

Three minutes later, Rakan Shamlan gave Al Taee the lead before Ghanaian midfielder, Bernard Mensah extended the lead to 3-1.

Al Feiha thought they had reduced the deficit in the additional minutes of the second half but the goal was ruled out for an offside.

The hard work of the travelers paid off in the 67th minute when Onyekuru scored to make the last 23 minutes a creditable contest.

Zambian forward, Fashion Sakala who provided the assist for Onyekuru equalised for Al Feiha in the 70th minute.

Onyekuru saw 85 minutes of action before Saud Zaydan came in for him while Nwakaeme played the full 90 minutes.

Al Feiha occupy the eighth position on the table with 15 points from 12 games.

The team will next play Al Ain on November 7, 2023, in another league encounter.
