NWFL Championship: Unification Ladies will build on their strength – Oluwatobi Oyekan

Unification Ladies boss, Oluwatobi Oyekan has revealed the club won’t be carried away with its recent success recorded at the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Championship in Calabar.

Unification Ladies started their campaign in the NWFL Championship with an inspiring and dominating 2-1 win against Delta Babes at St. Patrick College, Calabar.

Oyekan admitted a tough encounter over their opponent but he was confident of a win due to successes recorded in their past encounters.

The FEFCAN chief promises to correct the weaknesses of his side and build on their strength in subsequent games in NWFL Championship.

“This opponent we played against are a good side. The last time we met, we defeated them. I knew definitely we will be having the three points which didn’t come easy,” Oyekan told nigeriafootball.ng exclusively.

“We will work on the lapses and try as much as possible to build on our strength. Then, we will approach each game as it comes because each game have their own peculiarities.

“So the next game we will approach it with utmost focus, we will also go out for the maximum points. Game after game, we will try as much as possible to achieve what’s achievable.”

Unification Ladies will square up against Ibom Angels in their next game on Tuesday, September third at St. Patrick College, Calabar.
