NWFL: Christopher Danjuma reflects on nervy Nasarawa Amazons win over Heartland

Technical Adviser of Nasarawa Amazons, Christopher Danjuma has described his side’s 1-0 win over Heartland Queens as a morale booster to achieve their NWFL Premiership season’s target.
Odoh Bibiana stoppage time goal in the first half separated Nasarawa Amazons and visiting Heartland Queens of Owerri in a gruelling encounter played at the Lafia City Stadium.
And Coach Danjuma who hailed his girls for subduing their opponents, opened up on the team’s target of reaching the Super Six playoffs, while tasking his side to remain focused.
“My first target is to qualify for super six and this victory has pushed us closer to making it happen,” Danjuma told nigeriafootball.ng.
“We remain focused, work hard and sett a target to be better than previous seasons, football is a game with much mental strength for players and we will always help them to stay in shape through the season.
“We know its going to a tough call but we want to make sure we maintain our winning tempo work hard to pick nine to 12 points away from home and don’t drop any point at home.”
Nasarawa Amazons FC will be traveling to Lagos to face Dannas Ladies in Matchday Three of the NWFL Premiership at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, Onikan on 29th November.
