Nasarawa Amazons head coach Christopher Danjuma is full of praise for his side following a 0-0 draw against FC Robo Queens in the matchday two of the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) Premiership away in Lagos.
The Lafia based outfit were hoping to extend their unbeaten start to the season against Emmanuel Osahon’s side and they succeeded in stopping threats from their foes and earning a valuable point on the road.
After holding out against their hardfighting opponents, the Nigeria U20 women’s coach lauded his players following their hard earned point against the Lagos Landladies.
“The Premiership is a tough league. To earn a point away from home in this league, especially against a fantastic side like Robo is something important for our goals and ambition for this season,” Danjuma told Nigeriafootball.ng.
“Every match we want to play this season we want to play it like it’s a match that qualifies us for the Super Six. That way we take it one game after the other.”
The Amazons now have four points in two games and will look to build on the momentum as they continue their journey to Super Six.
