NWFL Premiership: First-ever top-flight victory excites Dannaz Ladies owner

Dannaz Ladies proprietor, Danny Nazzal is on cloud nine after his club secured a 2-0 win over Naija Ratels FC, marking the team’s first win in the Nigeria Women’s Football League Premiership.

After a brace from Delight Isaac lifted the club to a 2-0 victory at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, Nazzal says he is the proudest club owner.

“I am the proudest club owner that exists right now. If you know the story behind Dannaz and these girls.” Nazzal gushed in a jubilant post-match interview with Sports247.ng

“Today, they came and they proved to everyone, including Delight, that was dropped from the U20.

“This victory served as a testament to the team’s resilience and determination.

“Today, they won for everyone—their coach, the state, their family, and most importantly, themselves.”

After seeing off Naija Ratels FC at home, another home clash awaits Dannaz Ladies as in form Nasarawa Amazons visit Lagos next week.
