NWFL Premiership MD 7 Review: Hat tricks characterize goal spree Matchday as league undergo mid season break

A total number of three hat tricks were recorded at the end of matchday seven of the 2024/25 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership.
Mary Moses (Rivers Angels), Kafayat Bashiru (Remo Stars Ladies), and Mary Lucky (Abia Angels) scored treble to lift their teams to victories.
In Port Harcourt, Moses bagged three goals as Rivers Angels thrashed Adamawa Queens 6-0 to maintain their unbeaten run.
Peace Effiong scored a brace while Titilayo Aweda completed the scoring for the Jewels of Rivers.
In Ikenne, Bashiru also bagged three goals as Remo Stars Ladies secured their sixth win, the highest in the league so far.
The league top goal scorer, Bolaji Olamide scored in seven straight games extending her tally to nine.
In Lagos, Abia Angels ended Dannaz Ladies unbeaten record at home with a 3-1 win over the Cedars.
Lucky scored three goals for the visitors while Funmilayo Adefuye opened scoring for Adanna Nwaneri’s side.
