NWFL Premiership MD11 Wrap: Edo end Robo streak, Confluence, Delta, and Bayelsa slip

Edo Queens brought FC Robo Queens four-match winning streak in an end in Wednesday’s Nigeria Women’s Football Premiership encounter at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.
Moses Aduku’s side defeated Emmanuel Osahon wards 2-0 in Benin City to return to winning ways after last week’s loss to Confluence Queens in Lokoja.
Goals in either half from Fajobi Yetunde and Suliat Abideen lifted the Benin City-based side to victory which ensured that it returned to the top of Group B.
In Lokoja, Adamawa Queens hold Confluence Queens to a 0-0 draw with Chukwuamaka Osigwe missing a penalty in the first half.
Nasarawa Amazons edged Ibom Angels 1-0 in Uyo thanks to Ayatsea Hembafan’s 48th minute strike.
In Warri, Delta Queens remained unbeaten after a 0-0 draw with Royal Queens in a local derby between teams from the same state.
Holders, Bayelsa Queens also played out a goalless draw with Heartland Queens in Owerri just as the same result was recorded in the clash between Osun Babes and Naija Ratels FC in Osogbo.
Delta Queens remained group leaders in Group A with 21 points ahead of Bayelsa Queens (16 points), Naija Ratels FC (14 points), Rivers Angels (13 points), Heartland Queens (9 points), Royal Queens (9 points), and Osun Babes (7 points).
Edo Queens moved to the top of Group B with 18 points after upending FC Robo Queens.
Confluence Queens (17 points), Nasarawa Amazons (16 points), FC Robo Queens (16 points), Abia Angels (13 points), Adamawa Queens (10 points), and Ibom Angels (6 points) follow in descending order.
