NWFL Premiership: Paul Mene rues Royal Queens slip after Dannaz Ladies defeat
By Saheed Afolabi
Head coach of Royal Queens, Paul Mene has rued the lack of concentration from his players following a 2-1 defeat to Dannaz Ladies at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan.
The Warri Ladies had gained a first half lead but capitulated late in the second  half to see their quest for the first win of the season dashed by the comeback of the Cedars in Lagos.
Following the disappointing loss, Mene feels his side were supposed to win the game but succumbed lately as he assures that corrections will be made so avert future occurrences.
“They lost concentration at the ending part of the game, we were supposed to go home with the three points, but we lost concentration,” Mene told Nigeriafootball.ng exclusively.
“I kept encouraging the players but the goals just came in through lack of concentration which we conceded under four minutes.
“We are going to do the little corrections that made us to loose this game. I believe we will come out with three points in our next game coming up next week Wednesday.”
Royal Queens stay glued to the bottom of the NWFL Premiership group B with a point from five matches.
