NWFL Premiership will not be easy – Dannaz Ladies team manager Adenike Ayodele

Dannaz Ladies Team Manager, Adenike Ayodele has visioned the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership as a difficult league.
The Cedars were promoted to the elite women’s football league in Nigeria from the last season NWFL Championship at Ikenne and are ready to set the stone rolling.
Adenike described the NWFL Premiership groupings as satisfactory to her conscience and was glad to land in group B, predicting a difficult experience in the topflight as debutants amidst desire to come out stronger.
“I am very satisfied because I was even surprised that I am the one that picked the name of my team by myself in that group. And when you see that group, I know that my girls can do better, and I am very happy to be in that group,” She told the Press.
“Seeing the teams we are going to play in the league, I know it is not going to be easy because we are first-timers, but I know with the work of my players and what they have put in for this league, I know they would do well in that group. I believe in them.
“Since we got this promotion, there are so many things we have been doing differently from what we have been doing before, which I know is helping them and I know it is still going to help them achieve their aim in this upcoming league tournament. The training they are getting now is different from before.”
Dannaz Ladies were grouped in group A of the NWFL abridged league with, Abia Angels, Nasarawa Amazons, Naija Ratels, Adamawa Queens, Confluence Queens, Heartland Queens and Royal Queens.
The NWFL Premiership have been slated to kickoff on November 15 2023.
