NWFL reschedules Edo Queens, Abia Angels’ Premiership fixture

The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) organizers has announced the postponement of the Premiership match day Six fixture between Edo Queens and Abia Angels.
The match was initially slated for Wednesday, January 11th but has now been postponed to Thursday 12th January at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium in Benin City.
This announcement made on the official twitter page of the Nigeria Women’s Football League on Monday, offered no reasons for the sudden rescheduling of the encounter.
Edo Queens bagged victory on matchday 5 fixture away from home as they defeated Ibom Angels 2-0 on the Godswill Akpabio while Abia Angels earned maximum points at home against Adamawa Queens.
Edo Queens currently lead the Group B standings with 12 points, while Abia Angels are third with seven points.
