Odion Ighalo hits 16th league goal in Al Hilal’s clinical win at Al Feiha

Nigerian striker, Odion Jude Ighalo took his Saudi League goal tally to 16 on Tuesday night helping Al Hilal to a commanding 2-0 win at Al Feiha.
The Super Eagles forward scored the goals in the added minutes of both halves to keep Al Hilal in close chase for the title.
Al Hilal came more prepared for the match as they took control of the opening proceedings. However, the hosts remained organized in the defense.
The Blue Army were rewarded with their dominance in the added time when Ighalo who’s chasing the top scorer gong with Cristiano Ronaldo scored from Michael’s dummy pass.
Al Feiha had more of the balls in opening moments of the second half and could have get the equalizer, no thanks to their profligacies in the final third.
The grew into both sides sharing possessions but with Al Hilal jealously protecting their slim lead till closing minutes.
Ighalo, however, to put the game to rest and beyond the hosts with his second of the night and 16th of the ongoing campaign.
The brace which was a replica of what Ronaldo did same night for Al Nassr has however see the former Watford striker retain top spot in scorers’ chart with 16 goals along side Anderson Talisca of Al Nassr.
