OFFICIAL: Ayodeji Bamidele joins Zambia’s Power Dynamos from Shooting Stars

By Wale Mustapha
Shooting Stars defender Ayodeji Bamidele has signed a two-year deal with Zambian Premier League side Power Dynamos, completing a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with the Ibadan-based club.
The 26-year-old was linked with several clubs, including Zesco United and newly crowned Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions Remo Stars, but ultimately chose Power Dynamos in what sources close to the player describe as a move motivated by the club’s long-term vision and the leadership role offered.
Bamidele, a former Kwara United standout, was a key figure in Shooting Stars’ backline over recent seasons and is expected to bring experience and defensive stability to the Zambian giants.
His departure signals another significant exit for Shooting Stars as they continue their squad restructuring ahead of the upcoming NPFL season.
