Nigerian forward Jonathan Okoronkwo has signed a three-year contract with Turkish side Hatayspor, moving from Russian club Krasnodar.

Okoronkwo struggled to secure a starting position at Krasnodar, leading to a loan spell at Arsenal Tula.

During his loan at Arsenal Tula last season, Okoronkwo showcased his attacking prowess by scoring 17 goals in 30 league appearances, demonstrating his ability to dictate play and score consistently.

Hatayspor has also strengthened their squad by signing another Nigerian player, Funsho Bamgboye, as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Hatayspor finished last season in 15th position with 48 points from 15 games, and the addition of Okoronkwo and Bamgboye is expected to boost their performance in the new season.
