OFFICIAL: Nigerian striker Jesse Akila signs for Armenian giants Ararat

Ex Nigerian youth international, Jesse Akila has completed a three year move to VBET Armenian Premier League top side, Ararat Armenia.
FC Ararat-Armenia announced the capture of Akila on Saturday via their official Facebook page describing his arrival as a big addition to the club.
Akila, who is rated as one of the best goal poachers in Nigerian topflight had previously played for other notable clubs in Nigeria Professional Football League, including Niger Tornadoes and MFM FC of Lagos.

The clinical goal scorer played joined Plateau United in 2018 and was an integral member the 2021/2022 NPFL season scoring nine goals and provided three.
Described as a powerful attacker, Akila is also good with his hold up play, intelligent in bringing other team mate to the game as well as brilliant pace that may have impressed the officials at Ararat to bring him to their folds.
Other Nigerian that has played for the Ararat was Yusuf Otubanjo in 2020/2021 league season and emerged top scorer in the VBET Armenia Premier League.
