Paris FC have officially confirmed the signing of Nigerian international Moses Simon from FC Nantes in a deal worth €7 million, as the newly promoted club prepares for its first-ever season in Ligue 1 McDonald’s.
The 29-year-old winger has signed a three-year contract with Paris FC, which runs until June 2028, ending a six-year spell at Nantes.
Simon’s arrival marks a major coup for the Parisian side, who are reinforcing their squad ahead of their top-flight debut.
Capped over 70 times by the Nigerian national team, Simon brings valuable international experience and a strong record in European football.
His pace, creativity, and ability to operate on either wing are expected to provide a significant boost to Paris FC’s attacking options.
In addition to the transfer fee, the deal comes with a substantial salary increase.
Simon, who earned around €38,000 per week at Nantes, will reportedly see his wages rise to approximately €75,000 per week—making it the most lucrative contract of his career.
Simon was one of Nantes’ standout performers last season, recording eight goals and ten assists in 32 league appearances.
His leadership and consistency were instrumental for the Yellow and Green, and his departure marks the end of a highly influential chapter at the club.
Paris FC hope Simon’s experience at the highest level will be a driving force in helping them establish themselves in France’s top division.
