OFFICIAL: Richi Agbonifo joins Inter Milan from Hellas Verona in permanent transfer

By Oluwadamilola Olaleye

Inter Milan have completed the permanent signing of Nigerian forward Richi Agbonifo from Hellas Verona for an undisclosed fee, the club announced on Friday.

The 19-year-old will join Inter’s U-23 squad immediately, as part of the club’s long-term development plans.

While neither club disclosed the terms of the agreement, sources suggest the deal grants Inter full ownership of the player and control over any future transfers.

Agbonifo’s move brings an end to a 13-year association with Hellas Verona, where he rose through the ranks after joining the academy at age six following a successful trial.

The highly rated attacker was instrumental for Verona’s youth side during the 2024/25 campaign, contributing 14 goals and 11 assists in 39 appearances across all competitions.

His performances earned praise for both his creativity and consistent attacking output.

Inter Milan view Agbonifo as a promising addition to their youth ranks, with potential to break into the senior team in the coming years.
