Fulham FC have announced the acquisition of Samuel Chukwueze from AC Milan, joining on an initial loan for the duration of the 2025/26 season with a permanent purchase option.
The Super Eagles international will now link up with fellow countryman Alex Iwobi,Calvin Bassey to continue their relationship at club level following the deadline transfer to the EPL.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Samuel Chukwueze to Fulham! He is an explosive athlete and tremendous talent, who has gained valuable playing experience in Europe with Milan and in international competition for Nigeria,” sporting directorTony Khan stated.
“He is joining us on a season-long loan with a permanent option, and we are very excited to have him at the Club! Come on Fulham!”
Speaking to FFCtv after signing, Samuel Chukwueze excitedly remarked: “I’m so happy to be here. It’s an amazing club. It feels like home, because I have my people around me.
“I feel at home already, and I can’t wait to get started.”
Chukwueze will wear the number 19 shirt for Fulham with the player expected to be available after the international break where Nigeria has two crucial matches against Rwanda, South Africa for a place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
