Falconets coach Moses Aduku visits Flamingos, urges focus ahead of FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup

Head Coach of Nigeria’s U20 women’s team Moses Aduku, on Monday paid a morale-boosting visit to the Flamingos as they continue preparations for the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.
Aduku encouraged the players to remain focused, united, and confident, reminding them that they carry the hopes of millions of Nigerians as they head into the global tournament.
“Play with belief and togetherness — you have what it takes to make the nation proud,” he told the team.
The Flamingos have been in blistering form ahead of the World Cup, winning all 10 of their tune-up matches, scoring 44 goals and conceding none.
Also visiting the team was Ameenu Mohammed, NFF Referee Assessor and Special Assistant to the General Secretary, who educated the players on the laws of the game and the importance of discipline on the pitch.
The team is scheduled to depart Nigeria on October 8 aboard Royal Air Maroc, with friendly matches lined up against New Zealand (October 10) and Paraguay (October 14) before moving to their FIFA hotel base in Rabat.
