Oghenekaro Etebo completes two-year deal with Turkish side, Genclerbirligi

Nigeria midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo has joined Turkish club, Genclerbirligi on a permanent transfer.

The Super Eagles’ midfielder signed a two-year contract with the Red and Black.

The 28-year-old was on the cart of Greek League club, Aris last season but ended his contract midway through the season. 

The combative midfielder is one of proud products of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL who was discovered from Warri Wolves. Etebo has played for clubs in Portugal and England.

This will be his second stint in the Turkish League haven played for Galatasaray in the past. 

Etebo represented Nigeria at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia and was also a member of the Super Eagles squad that won Bronze at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON in Egypt.
