Samuel Chukwueze: AC Milan coach hails Nigerian’s impressive preseason form

AC Milan manager, Paulo Fonseca has expressed his delight with Samuel Chukwueze’s improvement with star performances at preseason games.

The Super Eagles’ winger had a dismal start to life with AC Milan last season on his arrival from Spanish side, Villarreal.

Chukwueze has, however turned the leaf in Milan’s first two pre-season games against Manchester City and Real Madrid.

The winger bagged two assists against Manchester City and also scored his side’s winning goal in the 1-0 victory over Real Madrid on Thursday morning.

“Chukwuze is more confident. Last season he didn’t play much,” Fonseca was quoted by Goal.

“When a new coach arrives it’s always like this, the players want to show off.

“I’m happy for Chukwueze, he’s doing very well.”
