Ola Aina Remains Upbeat After Hull City’s Draw Against Fulham as Relegation Battle Intensifies

Hull City defender Ola Aina has urged his teammates to capitalize on the positives from Saturday’s 2-2 home draw against Fulham as they navigate the challenging terrain of the Championship relegation battle. The Tigers, currently positioned 19th in the Championship table, find themselves without a victory in their last four outings, intensifying the pressure to secure crucial points.

Nigel Adkins’ side initially took a commanding 2-0 lead in the first half, courtesy of goals from Jarrod Bowen and Nouha Dicko. However, their advantage was short-lived as Fulham mounted a comeback, ultimately settling for a share of the points.

Despite the setback, Aina, on loan to Hull City from Premier League champions Chelsea, expressed gratitude to the fans for their support and highlighted the need to build on the positive aspects of the performance. Taking to his Twitter handle, Aina stated, “Thank you all to our fans who came out. We’ll build on the positives.”

The draw leaves Hull City in a precarious position as they gear up to face Bolton Wanderers on Monday, with every fixture becoming increasingly crucial in their bid to avoid relegation. Aina’s call to focus on the encouraging elements of their play echoes the determination within the team to turn the tide and secure vital points in the upcoming challenges.
