Olanrewaju Kehinde’s 11th goal not enough to save Hapoel Nof HaGalil from relegation

Olanrewaju Kehinde, a young Nigerian striker registered his 11th Leumit league goal for Nof Hagalil in their 3-0 home win over Hapoel Afula on Friday but was not enough to see the club beat the drop.
Hagalil went into the match with their hopes of surviving the drop not in their hands following points accrued before the Friday fixture.
They however did their job by ending the season with a win with Kehinde scoring one of the goals.
Ethan Wallblom gave Hagalil a first half with a superb finish in the 41st minutes. Kehinde who has being in a sparkling form through the season got the second goal from the spot in the 71st minutes.
Kevin Rainstein took the game beyond the reach of Hapoel Afula with the third goal with quarter of an hour to end the game.
Hagalil who finished 14th on the log garnered 42 points from 37 games to see them drop further to lower division.
However, Kehinde will still described the season as fulfilling with his return of goals and contributions to the team.
