Olisema Ekene pleased with NPFL exposure at Sporting Lagos

Sporting Lagos defender, Olisema Ekene is excited with the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) exposure he’s getting at the club this season.

The defender joined the Noisy Lagosians from NNL side, Warri Wolves in a permanent deal.

Ekene believes the NPFL gives players exposure to be known while excelling at their job, stressing that they will get it right subsequently as he praised the fans for the recognition during matches.

“It’s a good experience playing in the topflight league in Nigeria and it’s give you more exposure for people to see you and let people know you are doing your best,” Ekene told Nigeriafootball.ng exclusively.

“The team performance is an excellent one and we have been working on this for a very long time so we are going to get it right.

“It means I’m doing better, it’s a very good one for the fans to chant my name during the game.”

Sporting Lagos will square up against Heartland on Sunday, November 12 in Lagos.
