Onome Ebi wants Victor Osimhen to stand and stay strong amid TikTok troll

Nigeria women’s team captain, Onome Ebi has lent her voice on the Victor Osimhen social saga with Napoli.

Following the mocking video uploaded on Napoli’s official Tiktok account to troll Osimhen for missing a penalty against Bologna.

It was Osimhen’s 26 goals last season that won Napoli that first league title in 33 years but his penalty miss has brought uproar between fans, club, and the player.

And Ebi believes people forget all the past good deeds once a player makes a mistake.

“The world we live in today, they don’t care what you’ve done in the past,” she posted on her Instagram story.

“The moment you make a single mistake, they’ll bully you like you never even exit.

“Most people only celebrate success, only the strong-hearted stand and stay strong.

“That’s why I enjoy my moments and welcome whoever wishes me well.

“Aside from that, I don’t care who doesn’t celebrate me or wish me well. Signed.”
