Nigerian striker Onyebuchi Solomon Ihejirika has joined Slovak II. Liga side STK Samorin, completing his move to the club ahead of the 2026-27 season.

The 22-year-old attacker, who is primarily deployed through the middle, links up with the Samorin outfit as they continue to shape their squad for the new campaign in Slovakia’s second tier. The transfer was finalised on 25 July 2026.

Ihejirika arrives at STK Samorin without a recorded previous club immediately prior to the move, giving the forward an opportunity to establish himself in European league football. His switch represents a step into a structured league environment at a key stage of his career, with the II. Liga providing regular competitive fixtures.

Born in 2004, Ihejirika is part of a growing group of Nigerian players building careers in Central and Eastern Europe. His age profile offers Samorin a player who already has senior experience while still having time to adapt to the demands of a new competition and culture.

STK Samorin, competing in Slovakia’s second tier, have been active in refining their attacking options, and Ihejirika’s arrival adds depth in the central striking role. The club will now look to integrate the Nigerian into their system ahead of the upcoming league schedule.

Ihejirika’s registration with STK Samorin is complete as of 25 July 2026, confirming his status as part of the II. Liga club’s squad for the 2026-27 season.
