Otto Addo summons 26 Ghana players for Super Eagles friendly in Morocco

By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde

Otto Addo, the head coach of Ghana’s senior men’s national team, has unveiled the list of 26 players called up for their upcoming friendly matches against Nigeria and Uganda.

The Black Stars are set to face Nigeria and Uganda in friendly encounters scheduled to be held in Morocco later this month.

In preparation for these matches, Addo has selected a squad comprising four goalkeepers, nine defenders, seven midfielders, four wingers, and two forwards.

The first match will see the Black Stars take on the Super Eagles in Marrakech on March 22, 2024, followed by a clash with the Cranes four days later at the same venue.

This will mark the first outing for both West African sides since the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) held in Cote d’Ivoire, where they experienced contrasting fortunes.
