Paris 2024 Olympic: Joseph Dosu confident in Super Falcons’ chance to advance

Former Nigerian international Joseph Dosu remains optimistic about the Super Falcons’ chances of progressing to the knockout stages of the Paris 2024 Olympics, despite recent challenges.
The Super Falcons have suffered two close defeats in Group C, losing to Brazil and Spain. Their upcoming match against Japan is crucial, as they need to win by at least two goals and hope for a Brazil defeat to Spain to secure advancement.
Dosu, who won Olympic gold with the Super Eagles in Atlanta 1996, believes that the situation is still salvageable. He urged fans to stay hopeful and not lose faith.
“Despite the tough losses to Brazil and Spain, I’m confident it’s not over for the Super Falcons,” Dosu told Complete Sports.
“A strong performance against Japan could still see them through. The team deserves support and should not be written off yet.”
