Paris 2024 Olympics: Brazil gaffer banks on team’s unity against Super Falcons

Brazil coach, Arthur Elias is relying on his side unity when they square up against Nigeria in their first game at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Both sides shares a history of two matches which the Brazilians have the upper hand with two wins.

Elias said the Samba Girls have a commitment base in the team with the purpose of winning games, stressing that his side moving past the group stage despite the huge task.

“The commitment of the team is great. We have got an increasingly strong group [of players], and we have a unity of thought,” Elias was quoted by FIFA.

“This is an important factor for the team to advance in such a difficult competition and also to win in the knockout phase.”

The Super Falcons will kickoff their 2024 Paris Olympics against Brazil at the Matmut Atlantique Stadium, Bordeaux on Thursday, July 25, 6pm Nigeria time.
