Paris 2024 Olympics: Gabi Nunes thrilled with Brazil decisive goal against Nigeria

Brazilian star Gabi Nunes expressed her delight after scoring the decisive goal in Brazil’s 1-0 victory over Nigeria at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Nunes found herself in a perfect position to beat the offside trap and slot the ball into the net, securing the win for the Samba Girls.
Reflecting on the match, Nunes acknowledged the challenge posed by the Super Falcons and the effort her team had put in leading up to the game.
“I am very, very happy with this game. It was a difficult game, but this team is amazing. We trained a lot to play a good game,” Nunes told FIFA.
She added, “I’m happy with the goal, to be able to help our team, and now we have to rest and enjoy this moment.”
With this win, Brazil leads Group C with three points and will face Japan in their next fixture.
