Paris Olympics: Randy Waldrum anticipates exciting results with Super Falcons

Nigeria’s head coach, Randy Waldrum, has expressed optimism about the Super Falcons’ prospects at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The Super Falcons will face Brazil, Spain, and Japan in Group C as they aim to advance to the knockout stage.
Waldrum emphasized the team’s unity and preparedness, highlighting the players’ dedication during training.
Despite some players arriving late to camp, he noted the overall high level of performance and focus.
“We are expecting a great game. The players have worked extremely hard. Unfortunately, a few players came into the camp a little bit late, but the level has been extremely high,” Waldrum was quoted by the Super Falcons show.
“The players are focused and looking forward to the Olympics. The friendly will allow us to work on a couple of things that we have practiced so far in training.
“It will also help us see some players, to look for the best combinations ahead of our opening game against Brazil.
“I think everyone is ready. The players are tired of playing against each other. They are ready to face a good team. We are all looking forward to the game against Canada.”
Waldrum’s confidence in the team’s readiness, despite past challenges, sets a positive tone as they prepare for their Olympic campaign.
