Paul Offor envisages positive result for Sporting Lagos against Abia Warriors

Head Coach of Sporting Lagos FC, Paul Offor has predicted a decent result for his side when they take on Abia Warriors in the Nigeria Premier Football League clash on Wednesday.

The newly promoted side will be guests to the Coach Erasmus Onuh led side at the Umuahia Township Stadium on the back of their slim win over Katsina United last Sunday.

Their hosts will also be hoping to consolidate on their near perfect away performances that earned them a point against Bayelsa United.

Offor has however tasked his players to raise their games and prove their mettle in the league.

“I have always told them that I believe in them and I know that what we need is one result away that will help us and we need to find it and hopefully we are able to do it against Abia Warriors.

“Unfortunately the table is not saying how we good we are. It’s something we will continue to work. It’s the table that will tell you the quality of players in your team,” he said.

A win for the ‘Noisy Lagosians’ will be their first on the road in their maiden campaign in Nigeria top flight.
