Peter Olayinka: Super Eagles striker urged to dump Slavia Prague for Fenerbache

By Wale Mustapha
A move to Turkish giants, Fenerbache will be a step forward in the career of Super Eagles and Slavia Prague forward, Peter Olayinka, according to Czech Republic footballer Zdenek Folprecht.
Olayinka has been a consistent performer for Slavia Prague over the years, and Folprecht feels it is time for him to test new waters. The 36 Lion graduate has registered 43 goals and 23 assists in 169 appearances for the former Czech Republic champions, winning three League triumphs and two Cup titles.
Olayinka has been heavily linked with a transfer away from Prague in the last two seasons, and his likely destination is the Turkish Super Lig and the FC Vlasim man believes Olayinka deserves to make a big move elsewhere.
“If I could communicate with Olayinka, I would advise him to leave and move on,” Folprecht told media, while hailing Olayinka as one of the best forwards in the Czech league.
“Fenerbache has a bigger name in the world than Slavia, they play with players around the world.
“They are leaders in their league, there is a great atmosphere in the stands. Fenerbache has a bigger stadium. They probably have more money. The prestige of the club is higher than Slavia Prague,” he said.
Olayinka will be free to talk to potential clubs in January as his current contract at Slavia ends at the end of the season with no talks over renewal.
