Philippe Clement praises Cyriel Dessers for stellar season at Rangers

Rangers boss Philippe Clement has heaped praise on striker Cyriel Dessers for his breakthrough season at the club.
Since joining from Cremonese last summer, the Nigerian forward has netted an impressive 19 goals in all competitions for the Scottish side.
Clement expressed his admiration for Dessers’ goal tally this season, expressing confidence in the striker’s ability to continue finding the back of the net.
“Cyriel is scoring his goals and is also becoming stronger. I think these six months playing here are the best six months he has had in his career now, so we are going to work hard with him now to make him better and better. I see more and more the things I want to see from a striker,” Clement was quoted by Rangers.
Looking ahead to upcoming fixtures, Clement expressed excitement about the team’s prospects, especially in light of their success so far this season.
“I’m looking forward to [the final]. We have good memories from Hampden and our hunger for trophies is so big, with the staff, with the players, with the fans, with the board, with everybody. So we are going to push really hard over the next couple of weeks to win as many trophies as possible.”
Rangers currently top the Scottish Premiership table with 75 points from 33 matches.
