Plateau United off to good start in Champions League qualifiers

Plateau United kicked off their CAF Champions League marketing campaign with a draw in opposition to Gabonese aspect AS Stade Mandji.

The Peace Boys held AS Stade Mandji to a 2-2 draw within the first leg of the primary preliminary spherical on the on the Stade du Franceville on Saturday.

Objectives from Nnerot Silas and Zulkifilu Mohammed ensured Plateau United put themselves in good place forward of the return leg.

The second leg shall be performed at MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Sunday, September 18th.

The general winner will proceed to the second preliminary part of the African elite soccer event.
