Fidelis Ilechukwu, Head coach of Plateau United is talking tough ahead of his side’s meeting with Group A leaders, Bendel Insurance FC in Jos on Sunday.
Plateau United will be hosting the Benin Arsenals who are yet to taste defeat in eleven matches following the Tin City team 3-2 defeat at Shooting Stars in Ibadan on Wednesday.
However, the former MFM coach has since moved on the defeat in Ibadan and has been boastful about halting Insurance’s blistering run in the Nigerian topflight.
“It’s 100% possible to take revenge on Bendel Insurance, last season Rivers United were 14 games unbeaten coming to Plateau United but we beat them. So, that one is not a problem,” Ilechukwu told NigeriaFootball.ng.
“The most important thing is to psyche the team up but we will beat Insurance on Sunday.”
Insurance are Group A leaders with five points and Ilechukwu’s side will aim to cut the lead after Sunday’s meeting.
