Rangers International Women announces open trials

By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde
The newly established Rangers International FC women’s team is set to organize a trial in a bid to discover players for the club.
The team announced the three-day trials this week.
Scheduled for June 11 to 13, 2025 at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu from 9:00 am.
The trial aimed to select good players for the task ahead of the nascent team.
The Enugu-based side has not announced whether they will take part in the Nigeria (Women Football League NWFL) Championship.
The compulsory regulation by the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) to ensure that teams participating in their men’s Inter Club tournaments have a women’s team necessitated the establishment of Rangers International FC women.
They followed the footsteps of Remo Stars Ladies, which was established a few years ago as a result of the upward trajectory of their men’s team, especially the incessant qualification for continental football.
